Saw it got quite some favorable feedback for a sequel that was unnecessary, too late and has Adam “IDGAF anymore” Sandler. Well, I do have to say that it had some moments that made me laugh, especially the beginning where the story was actually still solid, but once he reached out to a certain someone before starting the match it started to feel forced. Actually the whole new golf vs. traditional was just too much. The cameos were nice, Shooter was cool, but man are there a lot of moments that are just stupid that could actually be good if they put in some effort, had some solid acting and or writing and I guess go for some smarter jokes. They can still be silly, but the execution is just so lazy. Like the whole with Eminem and Boban. Just so unfunny. I’d give it a 6 out of 10 since I did finish it. The whole formula was basically: okay let’s insert a scene here to show a flashback, check a box and then go back to whatever they were doing. Instead of telling a good story where the cameos and nods just work on ntheir own. This just shows me a certain disrespect for fans. As if we’re too dumb and wouldn’t understand a nod without it being thrown in our faces.
