While I agree Altexander is our 3rd best starter right now, we're in trouble if he's the 3rd best starter headed into the playoffs.

 

Certainly not the emphatic series win one would like over the worst team in baseball, but series win is a series win.

Walker probably gonna end up with 25 HR, 90 RBI and .730 ops. Pretty solid considering the start. Contract probably still underwater but not by much and in context not regrettable.

That's 39 HRs and 130 RBIs projected over a full season.

I implore anyone that is still stuck on June 30th to get on board. This is the Christian Walker that was so dynamic in 2023 (and 2022 for that matter).

 

I'm just happy Astros won the series.
