PS II will kick the crap out of Dreamcast. It happened when PS I came out and beat the crap out of Sega before and it will happen again. I will be in line for it also. And yes, you will be able to play old Playstation games. I've given up on Sega. I bought the genesis. Then I bought Sega CD. Than I bought 32X. Boy did those last two suck. I'm never buying Sega again. On PS2, yes you can play old PSX games on them as well as well as CD's, DVD's, and interactive DVD games. As for sports games. I like EA sports and I'm pretty sure that EA doesn't make games for the dreamcast. DeanCurtis, Seeing is believing my friend. I have been reading all about PS2. I know Dreamcast has cool sport games. But when you see the detail that they are putting into the PS2 it will blow you away. I mean on Madden for PS2 you can litterly see the stuble and hair on the players. I mean that is taking detail to a very high level. Not to mention the game itself will just blow you away. Trust me. Come October the PS2 will make a believer out of you. The PS2 is going to change the way America looks at entertainment, not just video games. What I am dying for on PS2 is Metal Gear Solid 2. I have been reading the Playstation magazines and this game is going to be the best game EVER created.
