I haven’t been following the Texans offseason. I am assuming that defense is on track to be awesome, stroud looks ok, O-line remains problematic, running game in doubt bc o line and Mixon out, and receivers look good. How did I do? Also, can someone break down the O line for me? Who looks good, who sucks. I read some stuff just now that says the rookie big kid looks like a player at LT, but wil go through some growing pains
I was holding out hope that Mixon missing preseason and training camp was just a veteran avoiding the worst part of the offseason...but I guess he really is still recovering. It's a shame, but I do think Chubb and others will fill in admirably.
Yep, imagine that. The guy on IR without even playing a single preseason game again. Durable he's not. I just hope they don't cut too many running backs still trying to make the team. I hope they keep Ogunbowale, Pierce, and Marks behind Chubb to start the season.
Aaron Wilson said in a youtube video that Mixon's camp has been keeping the source of this injury quiet. Why hide it?
These grades always kill me. I am fine with third parties rating players, despite not knowing the scheme/assignments and not being able to account for interaction among teammates. Just be humble about it knowing the limitations. But PFF goes the opposite direction by adding a decimal point and pretending that a 86.3 is different from an 86.2. Even Madden does only whole numbers!
more likely week 7 after the bye. I see this was posted earlier. I'm late to the party again as usual. I definitely don't multi-task well.
He more than likely did it doing something that voids his contract ie; unauthorized personal trainer, watersports, atv riding, motorcycles, skydiving, or other similar hazardous activities. He’s trying to keep his guaranteed money, pretty sure Nick and DeMeco know the truth. Nothing can change the fact he won't be on the field for at least a fourth of the season. We'll see if the new and improved line can give Chubb and Pierce new life, then when Mixon is ready the rb committee will be sick, that's the hope
