So basically you must play 1st or OF if you throw left handed. Kind of sucks if that's the lot in life you're given and you're really good at baseball.

I'm slating Chas as our 4th starter. We could use an opener

Hah, Tuve's bad baserunning pays off.....

I don't mind him going there though, that was the right time to try that.

yup. You would think you could play catcher left handed but its suboptimal for throwing to first and tagging at home

in another universe, bases are going clockwise and all the preferred infielders are left-handed.

There is no 4th SP, and really Alexander starting game 3 would be a recipe for disaster. Still have 5 weeks to figure it out.

**** on the pen all you want but these starters are ****ing us with these 2/3/4 inning starts.

Framber turning into a ****ing MESS hasn’t helped

They are hoping for one of McCullers, Javier or Arighetti to figure things out. My bet is still on Javier. As bad as things look, I think he can get in a groove by the end of September.

Well this is the real problem. A burned out pen will certainly spell an early exit in the playoffs.

Javier should be SP3. He's proven he can pitch well in the playoffs before.

On a positive note we've scored at least 7 runs in 3 straight games.

We haven't done that all year.
