Dikembe has no latteral quickness, he could never defend a PF. We'd have the most flat footed front court ever.

I think Mt. Xixabangma Feng would be more appropriate than Mt. Fuji...

not only is Mutumbo too slow for the 4, but he cannot play starter minutes either at this stage in his career, no matter what the position is.

Didn't Billy Paultz play PF alongside Moses Malone?

Moses was quick and Paultz was, well, "The Whopper."

Well, we did a 3 man rotation with Yao-Cato-MoT (with occasional spells by Padgett & Weatherspoon), so I don't think this is the problem. I think the issue is, as already mentioned, our opponents might score before Yao & Deke get back there!

Seriously, though, I imagine there might be instances where I can see us going to this lineup, but not very often.

DIK is too old to play series minutes any more.

Mo and Howard are both better players than Deke. Why would we bench the both of them?

There's no "D" in Juwan or Mo

    Dikembe starts with "D"

For some reason i actually think he can still play a decent amout of minutes. I think he easily has 25-30 minutes a game in him this season. But he is clearly lacks the lateral movement to play PF much less start there.

We can't do that right now. Too many early fouls on Yao.

For now he can i don't think he will be able to hold up for the length of the season and play at his full level.
