Big credit to Jason Alexander. Things feel a lot better now after seeing the hitters put up a crooked number and Alvarez killing it for the Hooks. Hopefully the hitters continue to hit and we see Alvarez in the line up Saturday.
This div race might have been over without Alexander. Phew. I was waiting the whole game how we will fk this up. If there was the rumored team meeting, Sanzhes might need his own "team" meeting b4 every game to stay focused for few innings. Just seems like a guy who would take part in 2h hitters meeting and right when the game starts....he starts chasing a random butterfly hopping with childish joy. The best thing about the win is Mariners marinating on the pain of not taking div lead in last 10 games. Their fans have been pissed the whole season with Wilson lineups(Moore in often) and BP decisions. Maybe there is something to it that you have managed teams before on high level so you know what you are doing or atleast have a plan what you wanna do.
This is every fanbase not just Mariners and Astros. Go look at yankees, tigers, dodgers, mets, and Cubs fanbase recently. And some more to a certain degree. all of these fanbases are pretty much calling for their manager's and GM's heads due to recent struggles. Everyone thinks they're smart and can manage a baseball better than their team's manager. They think their GM is dumb for not signing/trading for so and so players.
