I said it 2 years ago that Jabari would be on the Rockets for the next decade. I have not changed my mind at all. He is a winning player just like Sheppard is. I am not saying they are first team all nba. I am saying under the implied contracts (Jabari already got his) they are winning players that crater a cohesive team with a winning atmosphere. Now Jabari will be with the Rockets throughout his prime and will something like the 50-60 best player in the nba while being paid 80-90th most per year by the last few years in his contract.
TS% doesn’t change the fact that their skill level as players were not the same comparatively in the first four years of their career.
Goal post move. My posts have solely been responding about your post that suggested that Crawford was not comparable to Green based on Crawford's low TS% (i.e., you thought TS% was a valid point and now are moving the goal post). That obviously is incorrect. I will only say that guys that provide most of their value through scoring that have low efficiency....aren't providing much value. Maybe Green is better than Crawford was at other things. They were both comparable inefficient scorers in the sense that neither was efficient enough at their primary skill that one would want the ball in their hands a lot on a contending team. Go on, please rant away, move goal posts if you want, but it will not change that in regards to TS%, they are comparable.
I don't know why, but I feel like Jabari is going to take a big step forward this year. I'm not saying I think he'll be an All-Star. I'm not sure that's in the cards for him. But I do think his 3 point percentage will take another small leap putting him close to 40% and maybe he might improve his dribble just enough to more reliably get to that mid-range spot he likes on the elbow. I'm excited to see him on a more spread floor - and I honestly expect everybody to be a little more open with KD out there.
What is this argument about? You made a statement with no logic or supporting information. Also why do you keep focusing on TS% when that was one of the items I mentioned when comparing them. You picked and chose what you wanted to focus on. I don’t even believe in the league avg concept as I believe that’s flawed.
