Xenomorphs are hard to deal with, after all those shows......got to come up with something. At least find something you can easily escape with. Perfect killing organisms. Perfect Content to take it to the Small Screen.
I don't love it yet. I've also been finishing up Andor Season 2 at the same time, so anything looks pretty weak next to that.
I purchased a Disney+ subscription for the 1st time since like 2021 just for this my thoughts after the 1st episode are that anything with the space ship or aliens I loved (as usual), and when we were spending time with the humans or the hybrids that’s when I found myself checking my messages on my phone 8/10 for the 1st episode
Don't know who that is, but they're on my ignore list exactly for that reason. It's sad, really. Get a ****ing life.
Watched the first two. Good so far. This show is worldbuilding hard to set everything up for ongoing shows and movies. Hopefully they don't run it into the ground like they did with Pixar and Marvel. Spoiler free, or at least if you watch for five minutes: I like all of the attention to detail with the OG Alien tech with CRTs, wavy scan lines and super loud disk noises. I also like the addition of the other alien species. Spoiler The whole hybrid storyline is cool Sci-Fi. And I see we're going with the 'Aliens are nigh undefeatable' from Alien 1 vs the 'Aliens are just big bugs we can shoot' from Aliens, the way the single Alien wrecked shop in the second episode. Looking forward to seeing it unfold. Dorky wish is to see the Predators show up at some point, since we know they are connected, and possibly a Blade Runner tie-in since there are some loose ties there too (Google it).
There's been a lot of high praise for the series from the reviewers. After the first two episodes, it's been okay. I don't like how the brother is invincible yet all the grunts get slaughtered in seconds. Also the brother seems really detached from reality with barely any range of emotion despite all the murdering around him. Maybe he's invincible because he's already dead inside from having to finish out his contract and that goes along with what Cyborg Craig Robinson said about the alien smelling fear so it doesn't attack him. But it's probably just plot armor.
