Computers exist. You can track any financial transaction done via computers. The FBI is quite adept at that, they got *really* good by tracking global terrorism funding post 9/11.

Not sure why computers existing matters. A transaction was made. The FBI knows this. They know Ippei physically requested the transaction. They just don't have access to security footage of Ohtani 24 hours a day to verify whether Ohtani ordered the transaction or not.

    LOL...no, no they don't

...and it's not "the" transaction. There were more than one.

I imagine the FBI is a bit more sophisticated than "Hey Ohtani, was it you?"

Imagine Jordan and Ohtani gambling over the coin toss game back in the day. "Black Sam" Carlisi and the Chicago Outfit forced to go to war with the Yakuza.

Emanuel Clase got his Locker removed instantly but Shohei Ohtani gets a pass.

People think Shohei Ohtani is in the Yakuza Gang. His interpreter took the fall and is still free without charges.

The public felt that Tobey Maguire was super clean cut because of him being Spider-Man... but he's a real life gambling villain... wouldn't surprise me if Ohtani just takes advantage of his image.

Details don't matter to a good conspiracy story. Besides, it's pretty obvious that FBI is in a partnership with Japanese gangs to help MLB.
