Was flying from Texas to New York two days ago. Decided to watch The Thunderbolts. I was pleasantly surprised.
It's been 2 years since my dog crossed over, so I had been avoiding any movie with a dog as lead or supporting actor until now.. Good Boy. 8.7/10. (2025) Horror movie from a dog's pov. It's so good. very unique. Although Cat's Eyes was kind of like that.
The Incident (1967), streaming on TCM. Beau Bridges, Martin Sheen, Ruby Dee, Ed McMahon in a small, dramatic role. Two young thugs hopped up on goofballs take over a subway car. 8/10
Weapons (2025) Mystery Horror film. Told in chapters from PoV of different leading characters until full story is unfold. Movie had good build up. The final ending was also fine, wasn't disappointed. Super positive review from critics and anecdotally from people, who saw it. I didn't love it like they did, but hard to point out any major weaknesses. Grade: a solid A-
I would be able to watch it if I read a spoiler that said the dog survived. But otherwise, I hear you. I am still scarred by seeing Old Yeller within a few years of the family dog expiring, LOL.
