    orateam,

What's funny is that when he was on Orlando I would have agreed with everything you said, I was a Tracy "hater" since he dissed the Raptors and his long lost cousin Vince, now he's here and I'm hopeful . He could only go up in my book though so maybe one day I'll stop calling him Tracy (since he supposedly hates that) and start calling him T-Mac.

He says he's willing to do anything for a championship but his past suggests that he's willing to do anything for the attention. A championship can give a player major attention and praise like it gave Jordan, Shaq or Kobe, if that's what he's after he'll never get one. Does he really understand that hooking up with a dominant big man doesn't automatically guarantee you a championship and that winning a championship is the hardest thing to do in the NBA? The only thing he has going for him is that it seems he accepts the fact that he hasn't really proven anything in this league, as far as being a truly great player.

But you're just a bitter Magic fan so for now, go hangout at your Orlando Magic forums!

I love how the Orlando Magic fans are suddenly using revisionist history. We'll see how fast they turn on Francis after the Orlando Magic go through a rough patch. Suddenly Francis is a clutch superstar and T-Mac doesn't have any heart. The same Orlando fans who were trashing their management over the trade. Suddenly T-Mac has never hit a big shot and Francis hits them all the time right? Someone needs a reality check.

You could say the same thing about Steve Francis.

True, both haven't proven anything, at least not when comparing them to true greats of the NBA.

    1. McGrady looks fantastic. If he's all we got for Francis, Mobley, and Cato...that's a good deal for us. He's that great.

    2. We need to wait for maybe 10 games before threads like this can become meaningful.

The problem with the Rockets' PFs is this:

    J Howard: good fundamental...lack size
Taylor: lack fundamental...has a bit of size

As a result...Rox are not getting the PEFECT PF that they needed. Some people suggest Motombo to play PF, that might be effective but he ain't fast enough to keep up with the PF and plus who's going to back up Yao??? Just not a good idea if you think about it.
