The Suns don't have the assets to trade for Trae. Plus, Atlanta didn't just trade for Porzingis simply to trade Trae away.
I agree with this guy's opinion of Trae: He is definitely NOT that guy but won't admit it. His opinion of where Trae goes next year is complete nonsense IMO.
Be intriguing if we could keep Trae, Amen, Durant, and Sengun but it's just going to be too expensive once we got Durant. Trading Amen for Trae is a non-starter, but feels like Sengun would be the headliner. That ATL roster would be very interesting with Sengun.
I don't see what they (PHX) could offer that another team couldn't easily top? They could easily make the $$$ work, I just don't think they have the draft assets to get it done? Hell, I don't think he solves any of their problems either - he might make them worse. They could score a lot of points last season - they just couldn't stop anyone else from scoring more.
I'm glad Trae never wore Rockets res. Speaking of old needs for a point guard or sg (backups in this case) It looks like Melton is talking with Rockets for some handling and shooting security. Not sure how it may work out contractually, but even if Malcolm is in Ime's list of wants, he may be unaffordable and an injury risk.

I’m no expert, but I bet they have a way to create a little space if needed or they wanted somebody bad enough.
