All we need to offer is our interest and 3/75 does that just fine. All we need to learn is if there is interest in remaining with us on a contract we can live with.

If you offer that Framber and his team will be insulted and most likely not give you a chance to counter offer.

To be insulted by an opening offer is ridiculous, no legitimate representative would respond that way. If we make an offer it is up to them to make a counter offer or to simply decline. Either one tells us what we need to know, no temper tantrums required.

Ok, they would decline and not give you a chance to counter because they wouldn't consider you to be serious in your pursuit of re-signing Framber, is what I meant

Agent may not get insulted but Framber may get insulted. Hader is getting 20 million a year and he doesn't even pitch half of the innings Framber does.

Could've used him in blow out games. I guess we have to continue to rely on Neris for that now.

Should we just rename this thread to "Once and Future Astros" considering everyone that leaves even the most hated (Beltran) comes back?

I did not have Tyler Heineman on my bingo card.

Adrian Houser has carved out a nice 10 year career after bouncing around as a mid innings reliever. He starts against Seattle today for the Rays
