I mean just like fat girls need loving too so do first basemen. Yordan might be the only human being of certain athleticism I’ve ever heard of too fragile to play first. So, there’s always that as a fallback position.

Next time you are at a MLB baseball game, watch the first baseman pre-pitch. First base is hard on the knees.

He is between 6’4” and 6’5” and he is 17 years old and like 175 lbs soaking wet.

It’s very hard to really speculate on him long term because at his age - he could stay his height or grown another 3-4 inches.

I’m not saying he will be this good, but watching him move - he reminds me of Daryl Strawberry.

Nick Monistere and Ethan Frey both finished with two hits, two RBI, and two runs scored in Fayetteville's 10-4 win in Delmarva. Anthony Huezo stole two bases and scored three times.

Sami Manzueta had a huge day as he went 3-5 with 6 RBI in the DSL Blue team's 15-10 win over the Orioles Black. Manzueta had an RBI double, an RBI single, a sac fly, and a three-run homer, his 4th of the season.

Yensi De La Cruz went 4-4 and drove in 4 for the Orange team as they beat the Guardians' Goryl team 11-6. He drew a bases-loaded walk, hit an RBI single, and capped off the morning with a two-run blast for his 4th home run of the year. Diego Campos also drove in 4, but he did so with a bases-clearing double and a sac fly.

    This is... a delivery

Jesus Carrera is a 20-year-old RHP from Mexico who was making his Fayetteville debut after going 2-0 with an 0.98 ERA in the FCL. He walked 3 and struck out 33 in 18.1 innings in West Palm Beach.

I know. And yet through the entire history of time (before the designated hitter) that’s where the fastest and least athletic slob was placed.

Huezo’s bat looks pretty quick and he looks like a pretty good athlete. Might be a big breakout candidate next season.

he turns his hips really fast with a lot of torso flexibility. I don't know if that is good or bad. What's up with him having one PA in Sugarland. That's weird for a 19 year old that just got promoted to A ball.

That happens. Sometimes a team in the upper levels will get shorthanded due to injuries or a trickledown from the big league roster moves and they’ll need a guy to come up and fill in for a game or two.
