Nobody wants to be seen with a convicted child sex trafficker as their spokesperson... not even this untouchable president. Especially if it's in exchange for helping that same trafficker get transferred to a minimum-security facility... which actually happened.

He set this trap himself. It's like watching a mouse get caught on glue, except the mouse is the one who laid the trap. The harder he struggles to escape, the more damage he does to himself. And anyone who tries to help him risks getting stuck too.

 

I regret not saving the tweet, but someone said enough people at the FBI have seen the documents so that eventually there would be a leak. He said "don't be surprised if President Trump is impeached, JD Vance takes over, and Trump is pardoned."

Is it out there? Maybe, but on some level it seems plausible. You'd have to be extraordinarily naive to believe he's not connected.

It all boils down to one thing. The richer you are, the more connections you have, and the more power you have put you in an entirely different justice system than the majority of Americans.

White collar pedophiles, drunk drivers, those who commit sexual assault, those who commit fraud ripping off investors for millions, those who commit the biggest Medicare fraud schemes, and those who commit the biggest tax fraud are given a completely different set of justice and protection than blue collar criminals.

This will never change, because politicians are paid to protect those who pay them to do so, and most Presidents were raised on silver spoons themselves. The high society clubs, biggest private country clubs, and circle of billionaires don't want that ever changed. That's why they are more than willing to donate millions, and pay100,000 a head to hob knob with the President. Both parties are the enablers.

What's really sick, is when the President is a sexual abuser, tax evader, traitor, has committed investment fraud, stolen from his charities, and so much more. We have a pathological liar and criminal pretending to be all about law and order. His sense of law and order is something never seen before, and it's so disturbing.. Show me the money, and pardons will come. Say anything to point fingers at anyone but me, and you will be set free. Praise me or lie for me for privileges, or else f*ck off. The Justice system was already tilted to favor the rich and powerful, but now it's completely broken with a rich felon, con man, pathological liar, and self-serving psycho raised on a silver spoon running the country.

The government is working with her to obtain information -- after she was shielded as an FBI asset and possibly Mossad asset for years. Blame the intel agencies for that. When you work with a defendant/convict, you have to make concessions to obtain info -- her location is one of those concessions. Kind of obvious.

Have you noticed how some of the most outspoken MAGA folks on here aren't a bit outraged over this Trump DOJ "special treatment" of a disgusting convicted sexual offender who was the right hand woman in the years of recruiting, grooming, and sexual abuse of underage girls?

 

Correct. If we assume elections will run and are tabulated normally (a little skeptical on that but I’m assumptive on that) in 2026, yes of course Democrats will likely win the house but not hold the senate. Therefore they’ll be able to lead committees, hold hearings, and have the power of subpoena to get documents they don’t have access to now.

So they can investigate but without 2/3 of the senate on board, no impeachment will be successful. If it’s not successful we’ve learned it emboldens Trump further, and diminishes the power of impeachment.

I think the strategy the Dems should have from day 1 when asked about impeachment to put the spotlight on the republican leader of the senate. Remind the media over and over again that it’s the Republicans in the senate who are using their power to shield a criminal president. Tell the media that they need to talk to Tom Tillis and ask him why he’s continuing to block the House from holding a criminal accountable for his crimes. Make the so-called moderate Republicans the owners of Trumps corruption and crimes.

But yes investigate away. Make everything public. Block as much crap as you can that’ll hurt Americans, and continue to beat the drum of Republicans in the Senate being the accomplices here.

But a low security and a prison camp are very similar and both can have dormitory style housing. I expect Comey, Brennan, and Clapper to go to a much higher security prison once convicted.

The Ds will subpoena the executive and the Trump Admin will actively ignore all subpoenas ... because who will make it do otherwise. This is just a replay of the last two years of the first Trump term.
