The thing is, Whites and Asians commit crimes at less than their percentage of population, which makes Hispanics high crime by comparison. It goes: Asians < Whites < Hispanics < Blacks. Perhaps not uncoincidentally, SAT scores go Asians > Whites > Hispanics > Blacks. It is almost like there is some sort of correlation. Who can determine the cause? Presumably it is cultural.
I'm sorry you find even a grade school level of understanding of statistics (all that would be required in this instance) an example of stupidity. I'm afraid it doesn't speak well of your faculties.

The picking cotton post where I pointed out that it was racist to be against immigration enforcement because people want illegal immigrants to provide cheap labor and drew a direct comparison to the sentiments expressed when slavery was ended? Swing and a miss there, pal. Here, I just displayed a basic knowledge of statistics and the demographics of crime in America.

    Cute.

The goal is to stop the temps from continually rising. We're flirting with 1.5 Celsius, which is 2.7 degrees Fahrenheit and will certainly blow by that benchmark soon, especially with this administration. Every fraction of a degree matters to people with a modicum of morality.

Every dollar in higher energy costs paid by families struggling to make ends meet also matters to people with a modicum of morality. The climate change crusaders just totally ignore the higher energy costs that they heap onto those members of society who can least afford it.

Energy cost savings are far more important to the tens of millions of working class families out there than a liberal being a touch warm on the beach in Nantucket or the powder in Aspen being slightly less fluffy.

Please stop acting like you care about working families, quite frankly you are an evil person, with no morals.

Why are you acting like he's anything other than a troll for jiggles and giggles? Why even bother with him?

fwiw this statement greatly oversimplifies an enormously complicated subject

    How so? Enlighten me.

Is 2.3 not worse than 2.2?

Do you think the human race is incapable of adjusting to a 1 degree Celsius rise in global temperatures? We've dealt with far worse problems. Adapt.

I'm not going there. I've been round and round and round with folks on this subject over the years--you know my background and what I taught for 30 years. Let's just say that from an ethics perspective as well as a policy perspective, there are hundreds if not thousands of considerations involved in making the policy changes to reduce global climate by a "fraction of a degree." There are moral, political, and economic tradeoffs implicated at every step of the way that are routinely elided by climate activists who argue that CO2 reductions can be simply achieved if only we listened to people with "a modicum of morality." Those tradeoffs involve the complexity I'm referring to, and I have little patience with anyone who argues in simplistic terms.

Back to gas lighting. You cultists just eliminated the single cheapest energy source that we have at the moment. You cultists dont get to gaslight about affordability

Its more important to talk about renewables in the context of affordability. The only reason texas didnt have blackouts was cuz of the massive deployment over the past 2 years. Solar has made up 70% of all new electricity growth and now the administration has went to war with it.

Electricity prices will skyrocket and I dont think most folks have any idea
