I don't know about that. I suspect there is a Love/Hate relationship between the Saints and the Mannings. Archie was perhaps the best QB to ever get stuck in a failed TEAM MODEL. He and Tarkington are one two and I change my mind often. But they did their part without much support.

I was listening to Infinity Radio driving home yesterday and that's what they were saying, Jones ends up waiting to the last minute then overpays when he could have signed him before Garret and Crosby got paid but now its going to be north of $40 mill per year................that's just dumb business, you could have extra money to sign other players but your arrogance causes you to stuck with this...................they you go and insult the kid, hell I hope he sits out and give Jones the middle finger......................but I am sure he will get his "bag", and the niceties can resume

Manning is most likely spending another year at Texas after this one. There is honestly no reason to leave. NIL money is too good anyway.

Dont really expect much to change from last year. Defense will have to win games for us again.

If Arch has a season that demonstrates he has nothing left to prove and nothing left to learn by remaining at UT, he's gone.

IMO, the chatter of him staying another year is mostly nonsense. It depends how well he does.

Exactly. If he plays well enough to be a top 5 pick, he will go to the NFL.

There's always something to prove and learn. Being able to handle adjustments and having an entire offseason where college coaches gameplan specifically against you, for instance. Peyton and Eli played 4 years as the starter in college, and this was before they were getting paid NIL money.

The Manning family does things differently. Most players would have made a big stink and transferred when Ewers returned for another year like he did last year, but Arch stayed and was cool with being the backup for his sophomore year.

There's a good chance that being the star QB at UT and getting paid $7M from NIL is a better life than being a rookie QB, expected to save a franchise off rip.

I hope he holds out forever and Jerrah just says you will play for the Cowboys or not at all. Jerrah isn't winning a Lombardi with or without Parsons.

Respect is earned. Frustrate and beat Josh Allen, Lamar, Burrow, or Mahomes on a national stage and then we will get respect.

No one cares if you shut down the Anthony Richardson or Will Levis of the world

Jaylen Reed is second on the S depth chart even though he's out several weeks?

Yeah... look at what Allen did against the secondary last year... or Goff or Herbert.

We SHOULD have got the W against the ChiREFS ;)

True we did beat Josh Allen I forgot about it

But the truth is we need to make it to the afc title game on the backs of our defense in order to get respect and be taken seriously
