Who had Costanza giving up zero runs and snapping the losing streak on their bingo card?

This will be our first 'opener' since 2023. Before that, Hinch only used once too.
For a team that likes to dabble in different things, a little disappointed we didn't try more of the opener back in 2020s, such a long time ago. oh well, get one tomorrow.

Watching the Yankees continue to implode is kind of worth it though honestly

Yankees are 18-28 in their last 46 games.

    You love to see it.

    So

    Brown
    Alexander
    Valdez

    Vs the Yankees

Y'all agree we need to skip Gordon altogether and give Alexander a much deserved start Saturday?

    Serious question.

Is Jeremy Pena the best shortstop in baseball right now?

    Best WAR 2025
    4.7 Pena (328 ABs)
    4.6 Witt (438 ABs)
    4.0 Seager (298 ABs)
    3.9 Neto (370 ABs)
    3.7 Abrams (387 ABs)
    3.7 Henderson (396 ABs)
3.5 De La Cruz (429 ABs)
    3.0 Lindor (446 ABs)
    2.8 Turner (452 ABs)
    2.5 Bichette (465 ABs)
    1.9 Volpe (397 ABs)
    1.8 Betts (399 ABs)

Pena would have a WAR of 7.1 if he had Witt's AB total.

Re-watching the double in the 7th on King, man Sanchez has so much energy out on that field, but it's kinda spastic. It's not "efficiently" used. Bizarre to watch. And brutal, in this case.

Anybody watch him with the Marlins? Was he like this?
