    Tampa Bay, where Boggs finished his career with 2 seasons out of 18, tried to pay him a million or so to be the club's first HOFer. The HOF put him in with a Boston cap anyway, and then changed the rules so that the HOF itself is who gets to choose.

    I'm so glad Billy now feels the love of his Houston family. I'm not sure he did at the time, but he's one of us now as he always has been.
