Aside from that fumble, Nick Chubb looked good on offense. Other than that, how was the parade, Mrs Kennedy?
4 of 5 are new this year and we have folks complaining that they’re either not trying to address the OL or wondering why it isn’t completely fixed after one week of training camp.
Didn’t want him, preferred Skat if we were going RB then. But he seems to be having a nice camp, we’re gonna need him. Skat was having an amazing camp, but already hurt.
From Rotoworld: Texans Wire’s Cole Thompson reports that Nick Chubb’s burst “is nowhere to be found.” Ouch. Thompson says that Chubb is specifically struggling to generate the burst necessary to get through “the second and third level of the defense.” This is unsurprising for a 29-year-old running back coming off two injury-ruined seasons. Joe Mixon’s (ankle/foot) Week 1 status is up in the air and Chubb seemingly no longer has the juice. Fantasy managers should closely follow dual-threat rookie RB Woody Marks’ training camp and preseason reports.” That’s not good………available FA RBs?……..not sure Woody Marks is what you want as your Rb1
It's a good reminder the Defense has been working on stripping the ball. Even players noted for ball security can use a preseason reminder to secure the ball.
Sometimes people forget there is a difference between fantasy and reality. The cure is called MATURITY and SANITY.
This O Line will be a work in progress for the first half of the season, I am not going to get too high or too low until we see the updated progress on week 1 VS the Rams. I am not falling for the "this guy looks like the second coming of X" or "X looks like he lost a step"................its camp, there will be good bad and ugly daily, but I have confidence in this coaching staff..................I do wish we would have picked up one stud O Line man but we didnt so we have to deal with what we have. Should be a good week in at the Greenbriar as its much cooler there and they can get away and bond
