The main question that every true Astros fan is asking, since Carlos is back, does he automatically get his spot back on the HEB commercials, and if so, does that mean boor Dubby, is off................. this is the type of stuff I'm most concerned about............

Ex-Astros Brendan Rodgers, if he is coming back to the Stros he ain't #1. I'm sure he wants a change of scenery too.

Remember the days when the Astros became good and half the city was jumping on the bandwagon.

All I would hear is, who’s this Korea guy?

Bad backs are no joke. Have lived w/ one most of my adult life. It used to be there would be periods where it would flare up, I’d take a couple weeks off exercising, then back at it. Now approaching 50, severe pain shooting down my hips almost the moment I stand up or sit down in a chair…..and it’s mighty hard to go through a day w/o standing up or sitting in a chair. I design engineering plans for a living which means sitting in a chair for hours often arched over a set of plans which certainly doesn’t help either. And all the doctor’s offer is physical therapy (right……), over the counter painkillers (which aren’t strong enough, but the stronger ones are addictive so you’d rather avoid them), while telling you surgery should be put off until you absolutely need it (which means until you’re close enough to dying that shaving off more of the donut hole in your disk won’t lead to complete shearing off of disk with what life you have left). As the saying goes, getting old is not for the weak

I remember watching Larry Bird try and play through it on a nightly basis. Laying on the stomach instead of sitting on the bench.
    It has to suck.

I’m old enough to remember those last Bird years as well. And now I’m living it . Funny you brought that up because now when I’m out exercising in the hood, about 30min in I literally make a point to lie down flat on the sidewalk for 5 to 10min which gives me just enough relief to suffer through the last 10
