Like the moves they did for the field/lineup, just wish they could have got another starter, even if it wasn’t elite.
I could be misremembering but I'm pretty sure I remember reading that he was upset how we manipulated his service time
I don't think that's accurate - this is pretty normal variance for players during a season. He followed the .875 with a .682 month. Juan Soto had an .800 OPS month following by 1.100 followed by .750. Altuve in June was .745 and July is 1.055. There's huge variance for most players month to month because of small sample sizes.
So happy for Carlos. I once played at a charity event for kids with special needs and he and his wife were there. They both were so warm and approachable and they didn't leave until he took a pic with every single kid there. They were both smiling all night long. Guy is 100% class.
Houston fans were rightfully losing a little hope , despite being in first , due to all the injuries and zero available star power Correa brings dat energy and swag back in spades
Brice Matthews went up 500 points in like one game A couple of extra base hits make a huge difference
it was the games Luhnow did with calling him up. It probably cost him about 25 million bucks in career earnings. That's why I hate playing with service time unless you know you aren't going to keep a player long term.
Kinda surprised Correa waved his no trade clause considering how much he said he loved the Minnesota state fair. The fair doesn’t start for three weeks. It’s a fire sale here in Minnesota. Everything must go on the Twins!
Two years ago at the Astros at Twins for the ALDS I was wearing my Altuve jersey. Some guys started telling “CHEATER!” At me. I turned to them and said “but you love Carlos Correa.” They said “of course!” I wonder if all the Twins fans are going to go back to calling Correa a cheater.
