Maybe getting JV wouldn't be the worst move. I just can't think of a worse one off the top of my head.

Mason Miller to the Padres is a head scratcher. Ironically it was the Padres that traded us Hader and essentially made Ryan Pressly useless to us. Now they are the ones potentially ruining the chemistry in their bullpen.
I said: "you can make up your time this weekend. All of this will be in addition to your normal self checkout duties. I think you have a future kid. Now get out of my office as I'm trying to check ClutchFans for an update."
Hader was a free agent signing, which cost us a 2024 2nd round pick due to the QO. Astros did try to trade for him in 2023 but the Padres didn't budge to trade him.
The Astros have upped their offer to the Twins, and now are including the right to pitchers Jeriome Robertson and Octavio Dotel.
Would be a lot of fun to have Correa back NGL. Not sure if it's the correct baseball move but it would be kind of electric.
Robertson's last game in the majors came in July 2004 — he hit Magglio Ordonez with his final pitch and was ejected. He later played in the minors for the Mets and Reds, and finished in 2007 in the Mexican and independent leagues. Astros star Lance Berkman recalled Robertson's success. "When you play with someone a year, you remember them. It's certainly a tragedy and what more can you say? It's a bad deal," Berkman said before Tuesday night's game against Washington. "He won 15 games for us. That's what I remember about him that year. He was solid every time out. He made a big step forward in his development. Then we traded him and really he kind of dropped off the face of the earth," he said.
