Funny thing about Harden. Never won a ring but has never had a season where he didn't play in the playoffs (now the 15th year). He has also lost to the eventual NBA champ in 7 of them.

People just have different standards for different players but at the same time also judge them by those different standard like they can be compared. Harden is talked about as a disappointment because he wasn't on par with players like Curry or Kawhi or Hakeem. Meanwhile people are excited when Jalen has a month of games that look like Ant or Booker. The difference in expectations is doing a lot of work here in people's minds.
