I looked it up after and thought for sure he was leading the league. There's no way he can bat clean up. He can't seem to ever lift the ball. I really thought scoring first would right the ship.
On the one hand, it would be ridiculous for them to have all these losses to these teams on a homestand (just given their home record 3 weeks ago and still having some ability to hit with that lineup)….. on the other hand, their winning streak in Framber starts has also been ridiculous/not sustainable, and would probably not want it broken in a post-season game.
Three batters in this lineup with above average bats by OPS+. Pena would certainly help but they need more than 4 guys to compete.
