That line of thinking is too smooth and ideal for me, I think despite KD and elite Defense there is going to be up and downs in Season and Postseason. We would play big and other teams are going to outsmall the heck outta us.
Yep. I see it the same way. I don't think they win as many as last year but will perform slightly better in the playoffs. I'd say somewhere around 48-50 wins because I don't see Durant staying healthy and also being heavily load managed. My gut thinks injuries are going to take a toll on this group.
Factors - Amen's ascension to Superstar Injuries Evolution of Reed - possible deal if it's slow Jabari's progression Sengun taking it to the next level Tari and that leg KD staying healthy, AND not starting to drop off Ime's rotations Load management Buyouts joining Brutal Western conference Possible big trade
With Kevin Durant replacing Jalen’s offensive production efficiently, we should be able to crack 60 wins.
Predict the Rockets record?? .... 47-35 "Big Shot Bob" didn't care about regular season record... Go Rockets!!! ....... ....... .......
Chemistry matters. Especially in basketball. If KD doesn't disrupt the chemistry, but is infused with it, I think we are going to win 60+. But if KD and Ime clash, which I don't expect but both are very strong personalities, then I think it will be in the 40-50 range.
52-30 same as last year. They'll lose some games that KD sits and the west is just crazy deep. The East might end up with only 2 teams with 50 or more wins.
55+ wins for sure. Rox just upgraded from Jalen and DB to KD and DFS. I wouldnt even be surprised if Rox get 1st seed this time I think Amen, Jabari, Tari and Sengun are better than Chet, JDub, Lou Dort and Caruso.
I voted for the 54-57 option. I think that it’s a fair assessment, which balances between the general improvement we should see with Durant on our team instead of Jalen, to the games we’ll miss him due to injuries/load management.
