The first two questions for Tari during Media Day when players report in a couple of months:

Will you be game-restricted again going forward?

We're you able to work out during the summer without any limitations?

I really hope Jackson Gatlin was right and the Rockets think the world of Tari, I think if we let him go he's the one that'd really come back to bite us in the ass more than anybody else we've traded away from Team Tank.

30 Mill is the New 25.......

Almost every agent of young clients is going after that in their first extension......

It really depends on his health.......that is all that matters to both him and the Rockets.

I’ve seen nothin over the year too suggest that Gatlin is deeply connected with the sentiments of the front office.

maybe they’re still trying to see what discount they can get from Durant to see what they offer Tari. It was telling when it was mentioned that some cousins t trust Tari to his fullest extent during the series agaisnt the Warriors because of his propensity to gamble on defense.

Also if Reed doesn’t pan out maybe Tari become the trading piece to bring in the pg of the future.

I think Stone is just keeping his options open. We heard a lot over the recent seasons about how this front office values optionality.

Yeah I'm not convinced he has much insider info either tbh having watch LoR all season long. I just hope he is right on this one. Tari for me really does feel the more important of the rest of the 3 youngsters that haven't started breaking out into star level players yet. It's like people forget that for most of the season it was The Terror Twins more than "Amen is the franchise" and I think people criminally undervalue Tari's part.

I remain confident they’ll get a fair deal done for both sides before the season. Tari/Bari/Amen/Sengun all need to be locked up long term. Right now that’s the battle tested young core of this team.

I don't think the Rox will offer a fair deal until they can see that he can play B2Bs pain free......so I expect him to bet on himself if he is healthy - if he takes a lessor deal, that probably means he isn't totally healthy.

Just a weird situation all around.
