D.J. Newman probably got a substantial bonus to break his transfer portal commitment to Tennessee.

another Hs UDFA in there, P Ryan Petrovich

With Mitchell getting $800k no one else got much overslot unless one of the unreported top 10 round guys signed for zilch. Mitchell’s bonus is commiserate with the slot value for pick #96 overall (3rd round).

OP updated with all bonuses. This will probably be the last update unless there's another undrafted free agent signing.

Surprised it didn't take that much to get D.J. Newman to sign.

Unless Joey McLaughlin is willing to take $150,000, and there has been no indication that he's open to doing that... good luck at Arkansas State.

If my math is correct (I've never really been good at the fancy math), the Astros avoided the 5% overage by $3,975.

I still have Joey McLaughlin* as unresolved on my board. Have I missed some news on him?

Awesome stuff thanks for doing it.

I think this was a fantastic draft for Houston and I think they did an amazing job of managing their pool. 3 premium talents (Neyens is the best prospect in their system, Frey is probably in the top 10, and Mitchell in the top 2), plus a dozen or so 3rd tier talents, most of whom are very high upside players.
