Classy farewell by Jalen. I’ll stop ragging on him. We’re used to a-holes like Pippen and Parsons trashing the team on the way out the door. It’s refreshing to see a guy take the high road.

Jalen is a sound scout, if that's what he said.

You could tell from that article pic, Jalen was getting traded.

Amen & Sengun are confidently laughing in the forefront and Jalen is in the background awkwardly clapping

So annoyed that we ever had people trashing his character because of stupid sh*t like homophobia about joke videos, painting his nails, dating an older woman, having a speech impediment. He is a class act, tough as nails physically, and I believe he always did the best he could. Some guys just aren't good enough to lead a team, and that does not make them bad people, it doesn't even make them bad basketball players, it just means they're not in the top 1% of the top 0.01% in the world. By definition, most people (including ALL of us here) are not at that level.

Why is Amen in Spain and not in Turkey training with Alpi and Fred?

you can see Amen’s struggles. He still has issues with making the defense think by dribbling, gathering, then pulling up or driving from there. He did it a couple times but needs to continue to work on this. When Mitchell played him close he just gave up a few times and threw it up. He seems better using his body and posting up to drive or shoot. Maybe work with Dream. If he can implement one of these two things and make shots from there his game will take off.

Obviously a lot easier with no team defense at all, but it does show he can break a very good defender down off the dribble in isolation and basically always get a pretty clean jump shot off, and sometimes get all the way to the rim.

It might be that all Amen needs to become a #1 option or something close to it is to get really good at those middies around the FT line, to the point where it's an efficient shot. And there are some signs that he might be able to do that in fairly short order.

It's just a drill where he has no option other than to shoot the ball, regardless. No fouls are called and no passing, which helps the defender.

Davion Mitchell is the kind of defender that makes this tough, but if Amen can just get within ~10-feet, shove off to create a little space and pull up for the J.

If you haven't watched it already, go watch the 9-mintue video posted on the previous page of Davion vs. Amen before you make up your mind. :D

he still has issues as he just gives up on some of these. The dribble gather shoot or drive after the gather isn’t there yet. Work in progress

Don't know if it was posted already, but ... Amen in a run. I think he makes his first appearance around the 3 minute mark (?) and then goes out and comes back in throughout the game. A lot of dunks, a flubbed dribble for a near-turnover, missed a layup he probably should've dunked, a steal or two, some solid d, some lazy d (but it's a casual run, so whatever), etc.

LOL, speaking of getting within 10 feet of the basket, pushing off like SGA and hitting the J...

    What a moment!
