Sadly, my wife and I have been watching episodes of The Good Wife and I really like it. That's the sad part. It is on Paramount plus. The show is like 37 minutes with no commercials so it moves pretty quickly. Can bust out about 4 episodes a night.
Good news: My boys are binging Band of Brothers Bad news: They asked me this morning "when does it get good?" I'm thinking about taking them out of my will.
Foundation is a weird show.... First off, I only finished season 1 so getting into season 2. In the books, there was no Cleon Genetic Dynasty (Brother Dawn, Day, and Dusk) and it was more of a plot device to represent the status quo. In season 1, I felt like the Cleon part of the show was most interesting (seems to be a popular opinion based on the internet) while everything else was "a slow burn". I'd stick with it as I feel like it's a great sci show, but it feels a bit different than the books (unlike Murderbot).
Hijack limited series with Idris Elba. Found myself staying up late binging multiple episodes instead of the just few minutes I intended to watch.
Just finished Star Trek Strange Worlds (Have to google if this is cancelled) Why do hollywood types like to do stupid musical episodes Rocket River Ugh . . .. why the band/choir/theater nerds always trying to push into the scifi nerd spaces!!
I'll put it this way: Strange New Worlds is definitely the best executed version of the recent live-action Star Trek series IMO. S3 began last week.
Ugh. Happy Gilmore 2. I definitely didn’t have high hopes. And it definitely disappointed. Spoiler rehashed every joke and trope from the first. There was enough in the plot that it could have been good but was just a celebrity filled flash back movie.
I thought it was okay. I have very low expectations for cash grabs decades later after the originals, but it was entertaining enough for me, just not anywhere near as good as the original. A true actual disappointment for me was Zoolander 2, I went in with low expectations, and the sequel dashed them even lower.
