This is all headed to the Palestinians being killed, and those willing to leave ending up in small groups somewhere else in the middle east. In 50-100 years there will be Israeli politicians putting up a plaque remembering the genocide of the Palestinians and apologizing as the Gaza Strip is lined with million-dollar homes and businesses. It is pretty clear that this is the time for Israel to "thin the herd." Europe and North America does not want any immigrants, especially Muslim immigrants so we will not see Palestinians flooding into the West -- the US has an even more Israeli supportive government right now, and authoritarian fascists are the rage right now. If I had any relatives in Palestine right now, I would be trying to move them away.
Both analogies are **** Because the person that is receiving the beating is not the same person that initiated the conflict.. at least not the only one It's like if the 5'1" attacked ron arrest ... And then ron arrest killed the initial attacker and started killing a bunch of his friends and innocent bystanders too. Furthermore , in this case , Israels attacks will not deter future terror against them. In fact , it will likely create more hatred and cause more people to turn towards revenge in the future . In fact , in don't think we need analogies. Hamas attacked Israel and killed about 1000 people and took a few hundred hostages Brutal and horrific Israel has responded and killed at least 50,000 gazans on the low end ...75 percent or so being civilians. Brutal and horrific There is no other way to look at it than abject brutality and horror on both sides.... With Israel having a much higher capability to inflict destruction... And using it. If Hamas are terrorists and war criminals, so is netanyahu and his government I don't believe people can disassociate Judaism and Israel and when the world looks back in 10 years there will be a greater hatred for Jews than there has ever been post WW2 and that Jews around the world will be targets for terror and revenge based on the bloodlust shown by Israel. There are Jewish genocide scholars out there calling this a genocide perpetrated by Israel , but @basso in all his wisdom simply sums up the indiscriminate killing of women and children as "Hamas bad" Hey , as long as the US's main export (other than the dollar ) is arms then I guess we are ok.
Yeah I get that aspect of it makes it a disrespectful analogy, and thats totally wasn't the goal. I just don't view the capabilities of hamas as much of a legitimate threat to the actual state of Israel. To individuals within Israel? Yes they are absolutely a deadly threat. The same way a terrorists from say Indonesia could be a threat to individuals in America, but are absolutely zero threat to the state of the USA. Again, I was comparing the "Adult" to the entirety of the nation. This situation really feels pretty similar to the US war on terror. Reported statistics say we caused around a million direct deaths and over 3 million additional indirect deaths (wiki), even more injuries, and the displacement of tens of millions. We on the other hand, lost roughly 10k people, 7k at war and 3k from the initial loss from 9/11. In the quest to "defend america" and "save innocent lives", we undoubtedly killed millions of innocent people. At that point who's the terrorist?
I*I don't follow this thread The problem is Hamas is a terrorist organization hidden in Gaza. Where is Israel supposed direct it's assaults? I'm saying that's the problem is they have no infrastructure to assault I am sympathetic for the people
Hamas facing financial and administrative crisis as revenue dries up The military wing is struggling to pay fighters, while the Gaza government that Hamas has long run is cutting services and salaries for police and ministry employees. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2025/07/21/hamas-gaza-war-financial-crisis/ excerpt: The group has also been unable to replace the well equipped tunnels and underground command centers that Israeli forces have destroyed in their bid to uproot Hamas. Before he was killed in an airstrike two months ago, Hamas military commander Mohammed Sinwar had taken refuge in a one-room hideout 30 feet below a hospital in southern Gaza. The spartan bunker was a far cry from the vast underground complex that the Israeli military said it found earlier in the war farther north, which included spacious white-tiled rooms, a blast-proof door, mechanical ventilation and ample space to accommodate weapons stockpiles. more at the link
So the country with one of the best intelligence agencies in the world let a terror organization build up for years around them and can't find any legitimate infrastructure to attack ? Can't disseminate between civilian and Hamas ?
When we do it we call it acceptable risk , we don't admit to mistakes Or are you talking about when we killed 10000 iraqis in what reatrospect agrees was a horrible decision. There is no way Israel is vindicated in the future
im not a fan of Netanyahu but I accept Israel's response to war crime allegations It's that simple I have no reason not to
They brag about having Trump's support. Of course they do. Trump loves the idea of ethnic cleansing and genocide, or whatever it takes to get the backing of a foreign leader to make his dreams of a Trump Riviera come to life. Greed has no bounds, for a man incapable of feeling empathy for any innocent people, killed, harmed, or taken away to never come back in the process. He'd do that here in our country if he could get away with it.
That video seems very sus... a warship sends a single shot , no repercussion sounds besides the close velocity sound, NO follow up despite others in the area , a small trickling of blood... also how do we know these weren't Hamas conducting surveillance to begin with ? Not buying it , but you will especially if it's from the government of Gaza
Yes I definitely used the wrong word. Thank you for the education Do you have thoughts on the rest of the post ?
What even is there left to say man? People are doing holocaust denial in real-time. We live in a straight up dystopian society.
