My cousin ( who is also jewish ) and is a past trump voter made the point that she doesnt know how you can be jewish and be ok with what ICE is doing.

Regardless of how you view the scale of the recent immigration problem , there has to be a better solution than masked officers rounding up people and concentrating them in prisons . Also deporting them to prisons in other countries , not even of their origin.

If America is so great we should be able to solve this problem and treat people with dignity and class

How do you detain and deport people the "nice" way?

Telling people they cannot enter a place and forcibly removing them when they ignore that instruction is not a nice process.

Obama did it nicely in 2013. Trump can't touch his numbers.

Or the media didn't cover it in the same way when Obama was deporting millions.

What percentage of people they have caught so far hopped a fence and evaded all legal processes ?

Most of the people admitted here came seeking asylum ( under a very forgiving interpretation by joe biden) and gave their information.

Many people got scooped up at their court date.

So they were NOT told they could not enter... in fact they were told exactly what to do and did it.

We live in 2025 , in most cases it should take less than a couple of days to determine if a person made legal attempts to enter the country or ignored all laws and snuck in. I dont really care how you deport those people , but I think that law enforcement should be officially marked and not wear masks .

How did the media manage to keep its mouth shut while Obama was directing masked goons to snatch people up based on appearance and send them to dungeons in countries they’d never set foot in? This seems like a huge scandal that went unreported.

Why the hell does ICE need 3 days to verify someone's citizenship when local cops have 24 hours to file charges before letting you go? How do you cultists think its okay that a veteran whos a US CITIZEN be locked up for 3 days with no charges being filed?

How do you cultists not realize you people are batshit nuts

There is no reason ICE cant verify someone's citizenship within a few minutes. Locking someone for multiple days on the suspicion of them being undocumented is utterly bullshit

Obama wasn't locking up citizens for a week on the suspicion they were undocumented. That's yalls cult hero

Fled Chile and Pinochet...got the USA and Trump instead

Leon was granted political asylum in 1987 after surviving torture at the hands of Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet’s regime, according to his granddaughter, Nataly, who asked that her surname not be used because she fears U.S. government retribution against her and her relatives.
In Allentown, he lived a quiet life, raising four children and enjoying retirement after years working at a leather manufacturing plant.
It all fell apart, Nataly said, when he lost the wallet holding his green card and made the fateful appointment to replace it at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office on 41st Street in Philadelphia.
    ....
Repeated inquiries to immigration officials, prisons, hospitals and even a morgue yielded no information. Leon’s name was not in ICE’s online database of detainees.
    ....
Finally, on Friday, a relative from Leon’s native Chile was told he had been taken first to a detention center in Minnesota and then to Guatemala.
The Trump administration’s aggressive deportation program was initially supposed to be directed at undocumented residents who have committed crimes. However, the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, which gathers data on federal immigration enforcement, says the vast majority of people in ICE detention as of July 13 — 40,643 out of 56,816, or 71.5% — have no criminal convictions.
Many of those with convictions were for minor offenses, including traffic violations, the organization said.
Leon, according to his family, never had so much as a parking ticket — a contention borne out by court records.
