So Dodo is definitely going for minutes against Tari and Bari.

Dude isn't a GM ......you see that with the imbalance of wings, the most midget guards and tons of Centers.

And he can't directly call up GMs to consolidate, he has to go thru Stone and Fertitta, an unnecessary indirect route.

Just wait and see if he runs KD into the ground.

Must be a perk for outgoing players since they no longer have to live in Oklahoma.

I wouldn't mind starting Finney Smith and playing him in closing minutes for now as long as the young guys get slightly more play time than him.

I like Smith, but he lacks ball handling skills and we are VERY short on ball handling players......KD is too old to bring it up, FVV is too slow and Amen is still learning.......as is Reed.

If teams want to beat us, pressure the ball - we don't have a guy that is elite at it....and can beat his man off the dribble, that is our biggest weakness still.....

Unless Reed and Amen got a lot lot better it will hold us back.

This ends up as correct. I had taken it as speculation.

Only first 2 years are guaranteed. Deal looks even better now.

Usually stuff like this come out sooner but in a smaller tweet after the initial Chams big tweet. But it seems they are just taking longer and longer to release the "oh it's not nearly as much money" press release these days. I remember FVV's option also took a while to come out even though it felt like it should've existed from the start.

    lmfao,

I retract any hesitancy i had on the FO regarding this signing and honestly anything else they do this season now.

only 2 years guaranteed is a masterclass all because Pelinka was trying to tank DFS value and the Rockets didn't blink.

    Stone really is that guy.

He deserves EOTY if the Rockets are a top three seed.

Massive win. Deal fully aligned with Durant’s timeline, also allows Rockets flexibilities when Amen’s next (big) contract kicks in.

Last but not least, lol Lakers.

I always took Chams as mostly from players/agents as Woj was the from the team source. As I think we are only getting info from the agent side early with Woj retired, the data released early is the stuff that looks good for the player.

He should fit in seamlessly on this team, especially on defense

I can see him being the better starter instead of Jabari

Playing time at the forward spot next to KD should be interesting as DFS will put pressure on both Jabari and Tari to be at their best. I assume Ime will massively favor Jabari to start the season because of his extension.

Fantastic player, so glad we got him just when his 3pt shot picked up.

Jabari/Tari/DFS reminds me of Moute/Tucker/Ariza days. Underrated to have so many big wing defenders.

I know these type of videos can be made for anyone, but the motor is what clearly stands out and being able to stay with bigger dudes. Some of those examples are actually just pure luck the shot doesn’t go in, especially with quicker players, but man he seems quite strong and quick and just relentless without the recklessness of Tari.

Oh, he is joining the Rockets, there is a risk that his shooting falls off a cliff. It's that depth perception at TC.
