I think it shows just how insecure about his own intelligence he is. One of his constant refrains is comparing himself to or mentioning his relationships with smart (and credentialed) people. He talks about his uncle a lot because he believes that means he is superior, that he has smart genes. Talking about a dementia test as if it were an IQ test is another prime example of the insecurity but really shows what he has to be legitimately insecure about.

Its to the point I don't believe a dam thing any of them say these days, him and his minions do nothing but lie....and grift....and then lie some more. You always expect some bending of the facts, but when you come out with whoppers like his uncle teaching the Unabomber or not knowing you didn't hire Powell, he`s either not very bright or its just lies that his sheeples will believe
