Jalen should stop talking and work on his game mentally, because his issues aren’t physical they are ALL mental.

    bla bla bla

All empty words he can't back up, the Jalen Green standard.

Get this clown's threads out of the GARM so I don't gag when I see his name unexpectedly.

I actually appreciate that Jalen seems genuinely saddened about being traded. Sounds like he really liked being a Rocket. Its really not his fault. He can only be who he is. The organization has to evaluate players and put them in the appropriate role. They didnt do that with Jalen. He was asked to be more than he's capable of being.
Making the playoffs once you become a mature star is not the goal, its an expectation. The goal is championships.

I mean.... it absolutely 100% is his fault.

We've seen basically every other young player who's been given minutes, improve since his first year. Amen and Sengun drastically.

    Except Jalen.

The Silas excuse also doesn't stick when the team's best player also experienced two years with Silas, under much more difficult circumstances.

Disclaimer: The improvement from the worst defender in the league, to occasionally trying whilst on ball (and still 100% of the time being god awful off ball defensively, isn't as big a deal as Jalen nuthuggers try to make it out to be. Thank GOD Rockets management weren't stupid enough to think they had something worth holding.

meh. There are some physical issues. He just doesn’t have good handles or finishing ability, and the small hands don’t help. I think he’ll get stronger as he ages but the lack of strength and physicality was certainly limiting. I definitely agree that his biggest issue is metal. He’s a confidence player and that seems to be up and down.

Jalen seems like a nice kid but he isn’t the one. Rockets did fantastic flipping him and brooks for KD.

[OC] The NBA's Best "Musicians": who's shooting the most "tour dates"?

    Defining a "Tour Date" Game
Just because shooting resembles a date doesn't necessarily make it a "tour date" game, so our first step is to define it.

    • The month refers to a player's field goals made, while the day refers to a player's field goals attempted.
    • "Tour dates" are bad games: no one's referred to a 10/12 shooting game as a "tour date". We define a bad game as shooting less than or equal to 40% from the field.
    • "Tour dates" are not low volume games: no one's referred to a 1/3 shooting game as a "tour date". We set the minimum field goals attempted to be 10.
    • Dates need to be valid:
      • if field goals made is one of 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10 or 12, the field goals attempted must be less than or equal to 31
      • if field goals made is one of 4, 6, 9, or 11, the field goals attempted must be less than or equal to 30
      • if field goals made is 2, the field goals attempted must be less than or equal to 29

Top 10 All-Time in Tour Date Percent (minimum 25 games played)

    Trae Young 515 207 40.1942%

We all knew Jalen had been bad the last 4 years for the most part outside of his hot stretches, but this is historically bad. Bad shooter combined with high volume is just not a good combination. About 45% of his games on average are just atrocious, my goodness.

This is great. I'd never heard of this term but it should absolutely make it into the vernacular.

I love this. If he was still here in Houston I would say this deserves it's own thread.

Yeah, OK… But why focus on the negative? Who cares about Jalen Green? Good riddance to him…
You didn’t even mention the most important and most AWESOME thing about this article.
Who’s the All-time leader in games WITHOUT a tour date? Who?
    Charles the LEGEND Jones!!!!!

He still has no clue how hard the West is, the vets and Udoka shouldered that for him.

He is gonna play 25 games and Phoenix is going to fold under the weight.

Booker is a light weight among star players as well.
