Reed filling out thick like fvv

Hope they don't go too far with that like they did with Yao and decrease reeds speed stamina and hops

He does not need to be heavier than he is right now

I’m fine with the box score but Reed still looked tentative to me. More aggressive but lacking some confidence. Saw him hanging his head a little. Curry does that also so it’s not the end of the world. And he’s young. But I was really hoping he’d walk like a god among his b****es :)

Nate Williams is so garbage...I know we can find another developmental player for $2.2M because what we're seeing is Nate Williams ceiling

There's a reason that our "stay-ready squad" couldn't maintain a lead in an NBA game. They can hardly keep up in Vegas Summer League. For a team with depth, we should improve on our stay-ready veterans, such as Williams and Samuels. While I appreciate their effort and Stone's loyalty to them, can't we find two-way players with more upside?

KD around the court. He’s a problem. If camped behind 3? Rox problem.

Don’t think it’s tentative as much as it’s a mindset. He’s a team first type player that isn’t looking for his, tries to get teammates involved.
I think once he realized it doesn’t matter with this team he looked for his more.
Showed he can get to the rim or get his shot off pretty easily.
I still think he naturally wants to pass first.

I think you’re right. Hanging the head could have just been frustration with the circus clown agility of the first team in the first quarter. Then he started to hunt his shot more. Loved the failed heat check from almost mid court after his first two makes.

This is a good take on RS. Last night, he set up teammates for uncontested shots at least half a dozen times that they bumbled or bricked. When you put Sheppard on the court with better players, he'll look like he belongs. If, that is, he'll quit gambling for steals and give up his position unnecessarily. SL's showboating and sloppiness can lead guys to try to "stand out," but I'd rather RS continue to clean up some of his terrible habits. These steals won't be there against better players.

    For sure.
I do like the aggressiveness on defense, but not at the expense of defensive team integrity.
I’m sure Ime will get that sorted out.

It was great to see Amen, Tari and Jabari on the sidelines in support not to mention Udoka and Stone. Felt like a family.

Kevon Harris, Cam Mathews are 2-ways, Dante is a RFA 2-way. That accounts for all 3 spots if we keep all players as is.

I hope we waive the 28 year old Harris, these spots are supposed to be to find one of the annual 2-5 undrafted guys who develop into useful NBA players.

Not a 5 year g-league vet pushing 30. Sometimes you can find a good overseas player who’s late 20s, early 30s, but I don’t think ever seen that from the G-league

Nate Williams spot should go to an actual NBA vet, and Kevon’s spot to an actual prospect

It's a shame that we are going to see Nate in garbage time this upcoming season. His one go to move really sucks as well lol.

IMO Reed showed a lot of what I wanted to see last night. He wasn’t bothered by ball pressure, his live dribble passing range out of the PnR looked a lot better, he looked like more of a substantial impediment defensively, and he found a way to get up 15 3’s against a defense looking to deny him.

Those things are the swing skills to be the player he can be. The hands and the shooting we already know about. We also know he’s 6’2 and he’s not an advantage creator with his handle, that’s not gonna change; it’s not his player type.

The rest of the team is constructed of bonehead CTE basketball players. Nate Williams might be my least favorite player ever to watch - he literally attempts to get to the same spot with his left hand every time he gets the ball in every game of his life.
