I mean, think of all those parents who lost kids, that they sent to camp, some probably assuming there were plans in case of a flood - and now to find out the county rejected the funds, or redirected them as in the case of the Biden funds away from warning systems......I mean, every single one of them should be held accountable..... The Republican nominee for POTUS did exactly that - politicize and blame the other side. Partisan attacks do not help; they just make things worse in that real root causes are not obtained or ignored, distrust leads to ineffective actions (or no actions), and effective actions are not taken from lessons learned (if any - they are much harder in an overly partisan environment). See other examples: Covid, Hurricane Helene in NC. As an aside, when you see government officials pushing out career government workers, experts, and replacing them with partisans, eventually, it will be very true that the blame lies with them - as they do not know what they are doing or they are no longer effective at serving the public. This IS ongoing in America.
