Gaffigan is my favorite. I almost puked laughing when I heard his Kobe Beef bit. Not a huge fan of 'angry East Cost single white guy' bits.
He's been kicking around on the national comedy scene for over 15 years. If you listen to any sort of comedy stream he's in it a lot. Hosted SNL a few times and was the highest ticket-selling comedian last year.
I typically take my comedy with an edge and some profanity...but Gaffigan and Bargatze make me laugh. eta: just thought of Cosby's "Himself" What a great comedy album (Chocolate Cake for Breakfast!)...loved that as a kid but I'll never listen to it again
He had a dead pan look and perfect timing.................he was awesome, Don Rickles was in the group I associate him with, Rickles was just always "on"
My Dad turned me onto Cosby the Comic as I liked him in the Cosby show growing up and when I watched this special, I thought it was one of the best I had ever seen from a "clean" perspective..............but oh did time change my mind, I wouldn't watch this again........now he is just a sick old man
Mitch Hedberg was so dam good I bought a donut and they gave me a receipt for the donut; I don't need a receipt for the donut. I'll just give you the money, and you give me the donut, end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I just can't imagine a scenario where I would have to prove that I bought a donut.
i like watching standos do their first set after controversy/getting cancelled. like aziz ansari, mike berbiglia, luis ck, etc.
