I wish the Rockets would've gotten Jermaine O'Neal over all those Players from the Blazers trade for Scottie Pippen.

@CBrownFanClub and I met in Oakland once. He had ChuckyBrownies and a whole section for the fan club. It was when we owned the Warriors. Good times.

Yes, I remember. I posted about a Cato performance in a regular season game in the GARM and Clutch actually showcased my post on the homepage - probably my proudest moment here. IIRC, that might have been the ONLY good game Kelvin had in the regular season. I also remember those were the days that we had an influx of Cato “trolls” (you weren’t one of them, @cato13 ) - people like MsCato and I think Kelvin Cato’s Mom were the main ones. They would pop up from time to time and say off the wall things, not as bad as @LHutz but weird nonetheless.

Should've paid old slow Hakeem Olajuwon until he breaks down, Toronto trade was the worst.

Scott Patterson is never Talked about as the Greatest Rockets General Manager Ever. His Father was the GM and selected Hakeem Olajuwon and Scott took over and created the Championship Roster since 1992-1994
Selected Sam Cassell and Robert Horry (Changed the Game as a Stretch Four) and Played them in the Playoffs as Rookies and Excelling in their Roles.

Carroll Dawson by far the worst hire, clearly Rudy, Les, Carroll wanted Scott gone.

After Scott got Fired yes the 1995 Championship happened after the Robert Horry and Sam Cassell trade for Old Slow Charles Barkley the Team got worse.

Maybe because it was Steve Patterson?

A little fun story about him, my wife and I were at the Arrows game years ago, and behind us was an older couple, they were the parents of Steve's wife, and asked if we wanted to go meet him, I was like HELL YES, he was the GM of the Arrows at that time, we went under the stands to the locker room, we met him and I got to talk with him about 15 mins, i told him that I was a huge Rockets fan and that him and his father were the two that didn't get enough credit in building the Rockets, he thanked me for saying it.....Super nice fella.

    His father was Ray, BTW.
