Are we KD’s Raptures? Dream’s last few years were rough to watch but we as fans took them and made excuses for him. I remember the ball just didn’t bounce right anymore in his hands. We all knew what to expect and then it wouldn’t happen. It had to be frustrating for him because happened so many times before. The next time started looking like worst. The Raptors saved us from the final end but what we witnessed was not graceful. Then it came down to money and the last contact. Do we pay for what was or what is? Hard times as a fan.

Even if Durant falls off a cliff, he will still be more efficient than most. Dream was far from a top 50 player his last two years in Houston. Durant was still a top 20 player with PHX. Hakeem wasn't the same after his his age 35 season. Durant was 2nd team all NBA at age 35. But like this thread, many things have changed in 25 years and players have different tools for longevity.
