There have been 671K jobs added From Feb-Jun per Bureau of Labor Statistics. Where did the other 1M jobs come from?

And btw, you should know something is made up when it rounds one number to the nearest million while the other number is rounded to the nearest thousand.

Did you even read the link you posted ?

" unauthorized immigrants comprise an estimated 5% of the labor force and are disproportionately likely to work in industries facing persistent labor shortages, such as construction and food processing. It noted that some farms and other firms are struggling to find workers as absenteeism has risen in response to the raids. "

Congrats man you cultists really owned the libs by removing illegals working at farms and construction sites where nobody wants to work for **** wages.

Own the libs by forcing Americans to work at sweatshops! MAGA !

yes. it answered the person i was responding to about where the numbers come from

perfect. send them back and their employer can apply for H-2A or H-2B visas for them. If the American people are cool with it, they can work here as our guests. One of the main reasons for having a border is so we can control how many people come into our country. We obviously can't let every human on earth who can swing a hammer come in. These assholes can go back and get our approval like everyone else.

Why didnt they just sponsor the ones that were already here working at these farms and construction sites?
    Why send them back?

I would assume because the employers knew the American people would not approve of them being here. Here are the conditions an employer must meet to sponsor an H-2A. The American people democratically decided on this stipulation for good reason:

'Before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) can approve an employer's petition for such workers, the employer must file an application with the Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration (ETA) stating, among other things, that there are not sufficient workers who are able, willing, qualified, and available, and that the employment of aliens will not adversely affect the wages and working conditions of workers similarly employed in the U.S. Any employer using H-2A workers must have initially attempted to find U.S. workers to fill these jobs. '

So they can go through process like everyone else and make sure they meet our requirements. see above response. they don't get rewarded for violating our laws.

So based on that, you send them back, wreck the economy/businesses, then make them go through the process which could take months to years.

You might want to read what you post. It said according to Bureau of Labor Statistics, which that Fox article specifically says doesn't track migrant status, which confirms the tweet is lying, but also here is the actual data and where are the jobs?:

    https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/ces0000000001?output_view=net_1mth

Maybe, just maybe go directly to the alleged source next time

'that' being the law ? Yes. Americans have a right to control who comes into our country.

'how can our economy survive without people working on slave wages'?!?!?!

or better yet, most never get back in.

the alleged source are the monthly jobs reports. here is june:

    https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/empsit.pdf

you can find numbers on page 18 of each monthly report. this has been tracked long before trump.

America is built on and runs on "slave" labor and wages.
Minimum wage is $15080 a year right now. Poverty line for 2025 is $15650.

Say a migrant worker makes $100 a day, even at 12 hour days that's better than minimum wage.

I can't wait to see MAGAts doing roofing jobs in 100F weather.

I hope they learn to code (or pick crops).

State Department braces for mass layoffs as soon as Friday
State Department employees are bracing for mass layoffs as soon as Friday after the Supreme Court cleared the way for the Trump administration to proceed with reorganization and downsizing.

The high court on Tuesday lifted a lower-court judge’s decision that had blocked the planned layoffs, which could number in the thousands. It’s a decision that the department has been anticipating, and multiple sources told Semafor they’re now preparing for “reduction in force” notices to begin going out this week, though the exact timeline remains uncertain.

The department prepared for its broader reorganization plan even as it waited for the Supreme Court to rule: Last month, the department requested resumes from civil service employees, and its Foreign Affairs Manual was recently updated to help with the reorganization.

The job market values my skill set at $150+K per annun. Why would I work a field job at minimum wage (or less) during harvest season?

If you didn't have a job and needed the money, would you then work the field?
