The Redskins OL has more talent on it than the Texans OL has had since the HOF'er Alex Gibbs years. Big difference, Although with the WR going down right before the playoffs 2 years in a row, I certainly can understand why Caserio prioritized the WR position. BTW, the guys he added in FA/Draft and trade are really good. Let's hope Caserio's method of fixing the OL by attacking the OL weakness with numbers works. Caserio decided this was the way to go after Booker/Jackson were off of the board. Although he did somewhat address the OL by drafting the Big 10 OL of the year.
He was bad in the Vikings game. (The officials didn't call that game like they had games before. After Patterson became the C the false starts really weren't an issue. (To use your word Sporadic at worst.) People that evaluate talent in the NFL for a living have a much higher opinion of Tunsil than fans on Texans message boards have of him. Like I said teams like the Eagles/Ravens/Chiefs seem to be able to overcome these issues. The RT for the Chiefs false starts regularly and Reid/Mahomes seem to be able to overcome these minor penalties.
When he stopped getting False start penalties, he started liming up in the backfield for illegal procedure penalties.
Checkout how the amount of his penaties dropped after Patterson took over at C. Doesn't really matter now, he's a Redskin and his new team is very happy to have him. I listened to Kirwin and Peters the other day speak glowingly about Tunsil (Top 5 LT) and I started wondering if the fans know more than the professionals. Then I said to myself, we'll find out next year how good Tunsil is with better talent around him.
