    Why?

the opinion of Bradley Beal will be a lot different when he’s making peanuts and playing next to Harden

IB4 Beal has a career high in efficiency

I am totally fine with this.

My main gripe is training camp is still almost 3 months away.

This is a weird way to look at it. The impression this tweet gives is that the Rockets can aggregate salaries to over $40M for one player in those conditions. The Rockets have to have 14 guys on the roster. As such, about $14M of that ~$42M would be needed to fill in 6 roster spots with veteran minimums if salaries are aggregated for 1 player under those conditions. With 1st apron hard cap, looking at about $30M in one player that can be acquired with 6 veteran minimums filling out the roster before exceeding hard cap.

For some reason, their team and franchise is just incredibly uninteresting to me.

Adding Beal would be such a Clippers thing to do. I agree with you he has some gas left in the tank and would probably help them win 2-3 more games.

I’m not seeing the downside or how this is a bad move. Their biggest weakness was lack of a PF, so they trade Norman Powell to add one in John Collins, and then replace him with a bought out Bradley Beal. Powell is an expiring, and they were not going to pay him because they’re trying to have as much cap space as possible for 2027 when only Zubac will be on their books.

    Harden
    Beal
    Kawhi
    Collins
    Zubac

with Dunn, DJJr, Batum, Bogdonavich, and Brook Lopez off the bench is a very good team

I see why Fred's minutes will never decrease. He's best friends with Ime.

the downside is between Collin’s, Kawhi and Beal half of their starters will be in the IL most of the year.

Well tbh we are hard capped, I think Rox are even in the luxury tax so we should just be praying Fertita doesnt do any cost cutting moves.

Yup its a good move, however betting on Kawhi to be healthy for 2 seasons in a row is asking too much IMO. Also other than the owner I dont think anybody on that team is hungry to win a ring.

We are so broke, our coach has to train for the last roster spot.
