Yeah, your right there needs to be more of this so ICE/The National Guard/Marines and armed citizens can end this kind of crap once and for all. There's not going to be rioting like there was during the last Trump POTUS. In that video I'm surprised somebody didn't get shot because if a mob of people were doing that to me I would be in fear for my life. I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6. I'm so glad Texas is a legal carry state. Thanks Gov. Abbott.
The state of the GOP is good, they're getting stuff done finally. They're doing what 77 million people voted for them to do.
Are they federal officers? How do we know? Masks? Did they show badges? Looks like modern Klansmen to me Rocket River
Your brain is broken. Tweet said "right to self defense" which you somehow conflated with which appears to be the "right of white privilege to do whatever the **** it wants, whenever the **** it wants". I am glad I can fix your misconceptions.
There is no right to "self-defense" against lawful detention. If you ask either group, I am sure they would tell you they were resisting unlawful actions. That doesn't make it so. How do we know that the people encouraging attacks on ICE officers are encouraging attacks on federal officers? Because ICE is a federal agency.
The other side of the coin is that perhaps some of the actions are unlawful. Jan 6th rioters got their day in court ... you know ... what is the legal term? ... they got their due process. Some of the people who have been deported have decidedly not been given their due process. I will go a step further. Some of the people deported to El Salvador's CECOT prison have been in effect given life sentences versus just being returned to their country of origin. Maybe some of the deportees are hard core criminals and a life sentence at CECOT is justified, while others not so much.
Typically, yes. They have raid vests with badges and insignia indicating ICE, Border Patrol, Homeland Security, etc. Again, that is beside the point though. The suggestion wasn't to defend themselves from imposters, but specifically to use Self-Defense against ICE. Being ICE is inherent in the premise. Being detained by ICE as a suspected illegal immigrant is lawful. The rest of what you are saying is far downstream of that. There is no right to self-defense against a lawful detention. Trying to prevent law enforcement officers from lawfully detaining someone is a crime.
If I sign up for ICE and get a badge, I could drive to River Oaks to detain al of the old rich ****s indefinitely since I cleverly deduce their disguise? Are you saying that probable cause left the building along with due process?
You can’t hide behind law and elect a convicted felon, laws don’t matter, unless they matter for all. DD
Detention for investigation requires reasonable suspicion, not probable cause. If you sign up for ICE and get a badge, you can detain people you reasonably suspect are illegal immigrants, yes. I'm not a Republican, and the man I voted for (Chase Oliver) is not a criminal, so far as I know.
Setting aside whether this is legal or illegal ... Can you see why a person of Mexican American heritage would not be happy being targeted solely on how they looked? by a bunch yahoos who appear to be White Nationalists looking for kicks?
To be fair, there's definitely a rich South African that lied on their visa and likely would be the type to reside in River Oaks.
Here is the thing By your standard. . . .all the "Founding Fathers" should have been murdered America is an illegal country All the J6ers should have been in jail for life .. . Illegal is a moving target that is selectively enforced Rocket River
