When do yall expect the extension will be settled? And at what figure?

Hopefully the reports are true and KD takes a team-friendly discount to help fill out the team while he's here. This is his and Rich Kleiman's last big payday though so it probably won't be too much. I'm hoping for 2 year, 90M or below but I have a feeling it will probably be around 2 year, 100 M.

 

The extension is really the only big thing I worry about with the Durant trade. I have the same hope as you, but I fear it will be more than 2 years, $100M.

 

I seriously doubt it will be 2/90. If he gives up any money, I’m guessing it’s a minor amount to help us a little with the cap - something like 2/110 rather than 2/120.

 

I have no hate towards Jalen Green…he was a disappointment, but he was a good teammate, coachable, and played every game the last 2 seasons

as someone who goes to games often, I have an extra level of appreciation for guys who are willing to suit up every night…it’s what I loved a lot about Harden…if u bought a ticket, there was a 99% chance he would be playing and not “resting” or doing “load management” or out with a pinky sprain

unfortunately for Jalen Green, his availability came with inconsistent play, but still, I appreciate suiting up every game

so I won’t be rooting for his demise or anything like that

This is kind of what I think. I think that the 2nd year of the extension could be brutal. I expect this year will be fun, though.

I am sure the Suns have a forum somewhere online. I doubt it is as good as Clutchfans, but you can still talk about your favorite player. He will likely need someone to defend him online by the end of the season.

I dont mind longer years as long as its cheaper per year. I am ok with a 4 yr deal as long as its like 40M per year or something.

KD's only issue would be injuries. Ability wise he is still a high level scorer till he is past 40. People dont realize but last year playing with no good center and a backup pg KD was more efficient than SGA.

With both Cam and JG gone we actually need KD as nobody on the team is a good perimeter iso scorer anymore.
