The "kid" is 30 years old and isn't even a great AAA hitter, I can assure you that he does in fact suck. But when you have a small army on the DL you are gonna have to start playing scrubs. Glad he had a great series though
We are on a roll! 11th series win since May 22nd, We've swept the Dodgers, Phillies, Twins, and Guardians and won the series against the Rockies, Cubs, Angels, White Sox, Pirates, Athletics, and Mariners.
It's up there with the Yankees series for me. You can see more discust on there faces as you watch the replay over and over.
This one was better- but the only thing I can think of that was close was that series in Arlington where we dog walked them and scored like 35 runs in a 3 game sweep and finally pulled ahead in the division after we’d been like 8 or 9 back for much of the year. I’d still take this one but that’s the only other one that’s close, imo.
Too bad the Mariners also kept pace by sweeping the Pirates. But this series sweep was all too satisfying. Dodgers fans are saying it doesn't matter, just wait till October but honestly even if we never face each other in October, I'll still savor this series as the embarrassing sweep that it was.
Some of the comments: "At this point, it’s just comical. He’s clearly not phased by it, and he’s clearly not cheating when he’s beating the **** out of you" "Booing Altuve literally fills up his power bar" "Take it from me as a Yankees fan, booing Altuve never ends well. He owns us everytime, some fans still do it, they just never learn"
It only doesn't matter cause they got stomped. You better believe if that 18-1 was the other way around. They would be letting us know about it. We just beat 3 NL Pennant Contenders in a row. That means something to me. This team is full of bad asses.
We got Framber on Friday and Hunter on Sunday perfectly lined up to take down the Rangers next weekend. Gusto gets the start in the middle. Love it.
Regarding Ohtani: Has anybody done a deep dive to see what his batting numbers are during the seasons or games he’s in a pitching rotation…. Vs. his batting numbers the years he was not pitching due to injury? I’m sure there’s no major differences…. But still cannot fathom how doing both can’t somehow impact one (or the other).
Fat ass Maldonado scored on a double from first base just now. Except he didn't. The ump missed the call badly, he was clearly out. They overturned it. Lol Good times.
