We got Clint back as part of the bigger trade that has 7 teams.

    https://www.nba.com/rockets/news/ro...rade-to-acquire-kevin-durant-and-clint-capela

Durant (6-10, 240) is a former MVP, 15-time All-Star, 11-time All-NBA selection (First Team six times; Second Team five times), four-time scoring champion, and a two-time NBA champion and Finals MVP. He also holds a men’s Olympic basketball record with four gold medals.

In 17 seasons, Durant has appeared in 1,123 games while averaging 27.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.13 blocks and 1.05 steals. He is one of six players in NBA history with career averages of at least 25.0 ppg, 7.0 rpg and 4.0 apg, joining Elgin Baylor, Wilt Chamberlain, Luka Dončić, LeBron James, and Oscar Robertson. Durant is the only player in league history averaging those numbers along with at least 1.00 spg and 1.00 bpg.

Durant joins Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, LeBron James, and Karl Malone as the only players in NBA history with career totals of at least 30,000 points, 7,000 rebounds, 4,000 assists, 1,000 steals and 1,000 blocks. Durant ranks eighth all-time in scoring with 30,571 points and needs 849 to pass Chamberlain for seventh and 990 to pass Dirk Nowitzki for sixth.

In 2024-25, Durant started all 62 of his games played for Phoenix while averaging 26.6 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 4.2 apg and 1.24 bpg. He was one of six players who averaged at least 26.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg and 4.0 apg last season and joined Giannis Antetokounmpo as the only players to have done so while also averaging at least 1.00 bpg. Durant also had the second-highest 3-point percentage (.430) of any player who averaged at least 2.0 3-pointers made in 2024-25.

Durant has averaged at least 25.0 ppg in each of his past 16 seasons played. LeBron James (20 times) is the only other player in NBA history with more than 12 seasons averaging 25-plus points. Last season marked Durant’s third straight season, and his seventh overall, shooting 50.0% or better from the floor and 40.0% or better from 3-point range. No other player in league history has more than three seasons accomplishing that while averaging at least 25.0 ppg. Durant also has the second-best career free throw percentage (.882) of any player with at least 6,000 attempts.

    No.

A clean look would also show the TO along with the FROM for each team in the trade. This way you could see exactly how the trade measured up for each team.

I'm actually relieved we went for KD instead of Book now. Can you imagine giving up probably all the Suns picks, JG, and Dillon and having to pay Booker $75M a season?

These two are going to cook together! There is no way they trade Alpi for Giannis.

I don’t think it needs to be said any more, but Durant is really, REALLY good. And I’m as big of a Jalen fan as anybody but even I know it’s going to be a monumental upgrade. People talk about KD’s durability, but he’s been reasonably durably for the last two seasons and he would’ve played more than 62 games last season if the Suns were actually…yknow…GOOD.

And truthfully, I was never a fan of Dillon’s very selfish offensive game—DFS will be WAY less black-holey and will help our remaining young stars shine!

I hope this take ages well…I believe it will!

Yes, I feel like I am one of those guys that did not feel anything for those 3 guys although they are all HOFers and Players of All Time.

LBJ, Curry and Durant.....wasn't much of a Harden fan either. Not to my liking.

It was one of the generations that I did not follow in the early beginnings and then was meh to hop on the wagon thereafter.

All the OKC, GSW, Cavs, Heat BS.

So incredibly happy he's gone, Rockets basketball will be so much better to follow now.
