Cam Whitmore traded to Wizards for 2 2nd round picks

You cannot give a talented Player like Cam for 2 second Round picks!! I think, that he is not an easy Person but 2 second Round picks??!!

This team has one, maybe two dependable scorers. Gonna be an interesting year.

 

But theres no guarantee those drafts will have star potential like Cam.

 

Nope. We will be paying the tax the season. It give us a bit more flexibility under the 1st apron to make a move during the season.

 

I dont think we need more players tbh. A coach can only play so many guys.

That is already a 10 man rotation which is too many for most coaches. Ime also isnt the most min max coach in the world, too many options he freezes up and just plays 6 guys most of the game.

 

Can they sign a vet minimum player right now? I'm open to that, provided if someone can really help the team.

I'm sure they could, but I wonder if they are going to opt until later in the season when prorated amounts are lower to keep maximum flexibility. Probably something @aelliott or @BimaThug can answer.

 

From what I've seen online, it looks like the Rockets' FO worked with Cam's agent to find a good spot for him. Apparently, there were other offers they turned down (though probably not a whole lot better than this one) to send him to a team where he'll get a chance to play AND be closer to his home.

Smart move. Cam didn't fit in here and they knew they were going to move him, so at least make it appear like a favor.

when was Ime getting on his ass about pouting? Do you have a transcript or were you right behind the bench and overhead this? I’m sure Shams or anyone from the media would have been all over this if there was such an issue. But there has been no reporting of this. You’re entitled to your opinion but I’m sorry, without substantiating information you and a group of fans here who buy into this narrative, are simply assuming and conjecturing about this guy’s character. Bradeaux isn’t a journalist. Isn’t a credible source and what sources does he have to obtain this info isn’t stated. No major media outlets have reported this. The report also says nothing about an attitude issue or character issue detrimental to the team.
