BTW, the upcoming opponent known as the Guardians are 11-25 in their last 36 games. Almost at the exact same time we have gone on our 28-10 tear. This is one of the absolute worst teams in the majors right now. Only the Rockies have arguably played worse ball. I just checked, the Rockies are an identical 11-25 over the past 36 games. We are essentially playing the Rockies starting Monday.
Emmett Sheehan is starting for the Dodgers tomorrow. He had several starts back in 2023 and was not particularly good, posting an ERA just under 5. He actually got his first major league win vs the Astros, ironically. Looks like he had a serious injury and missed all of 2024. He's only pitched 4 innings this season. Let's cook him. We need to get to that bullpen early tomorrow. They are running out of long relief options. They just may let him die on the vine. We could oblige that.
